Let me just remind everyone it was WB that pushed the grinding mechanic in shadow of war to push microtransactions only to them remove the microtransactions and keep the ungodly grind to build your army.

Honestly the nemesis system was so annoying to me in Shadow of War, I hated being in the middle of a stealthy and a nemesis I’ve killed dozens of times shows up for round 50 and immediately blows my cover

Netflix is only doing this to raise the price of their monthly subscription, then everyone will realize how greed truly ruins good companies and start pirating movies and games again. This is a huge L for movies and gaming but also a small w for the pirating industry, people will be searching for more websites like moviesjoy and theflixer or any alternative to those sites, so naturally, mostly legit companies will rush to make even more sites to satisfy our entertainment needs.
WB needs to use this for a Batman game. The fighting in SOW already borrowed heavily from the Arkham games. I want an open world Gotham with evolving villains and rivals.

on the subject of movie theaters dying out. when you say "fast track the death of movie theaters" you imply that its a guaranteed outcome which I dont disagree with. I like the theater experience pretty well, but with how less ive gone in the past few years, Ill feel some sad nostalgia at most when they are gone.
Yeah save movie theaters! Save the over priced tickets! save the over priced drinks and snacks! Save the sticky floors and seats! Save memes like the chicken jocky! …wait no I mean let that stuff burn. I was lucky enough to grow up with drive ins always a double feature, cheap drinks and snacks, could bring your own food, get as comfy as you like, annoying people are usually in their own cars, smoking and drinking is acceptable, ticket costs were less than half of a single ticket for a theater and you get 2 movies.
I mean I love the Nemesis system and it would be nice to see it in other games like I thought they could have made a mortal Kombat adventure game in the style of Shadow of Mordor. But also I don't feel like when you put in the work to invent something others should just be able to come and steal it especially when those others might have deeper pockets.
I don't care for WB. For many reasons. But mainly? They've been bleeding cash for years, and trying to blame it on their subsidiaries, rather than themselves. They shot themselves in the foot so many times over the last 5 years alone… They deserve to fade into obscurity.
